Mouse Anti-Human IFN-γ

ANTIGEN DESCRIPTION
The monoclonal antibodies A35 and B27 are specific for human Interferon-γ (IFN-γ), a 20-25 kDa (monomer) pleiotrophic cytokine that is produced by activated T cells and NK cells and is involved in the regulation of almost all immune and inflammatory responses. IFN-γ is involved in the activation, growth and differentiation of T cells, B cells, macrophages, NK cells as well as other cell types. INF-γ enhances MHC expression on antigen-presenting cells including epithelial, endothelial and connective tissue cell and monocytes cell lines. It also has weak antiviral activity and acts as a macrophage-activating factor (MAF) for tumor cytotoxicity leading to anti-tumor effects.

NOTE: *SpectralRedTM (SPRD) is a tandem conjugate of R-phycoerythrin and CYTM5. It was developed as a reagent for 3-color flow cytometry on instruments with only 488 nm excitation source. It requires minimal (0-2%) FL2/FL3 compensation.
