Hamster Anti-Mouse CD152 (CTLA-4)

ANTIGEN DESCRIPTION
The lymphocyte surface antigen CD152, also known as CTLA-4, is related to the co-stimulatory molecule CD28, and both molecules share common B7 family counter-receptors.[1-4] However CD152 is thought to be a negative regulator of T cell activation[1-3] and may play a role in apoptotic control of T cells. CD152 exists as a 69 kDa homodimer1, and is relatively conserved among humans, mice and chickens.[2]

NOTE: *SpectralRedTM (SPRD) is a tandem conjugate of R-phycoerythrin and CYTM5. It was developed as a reagent for 3-color flow cytometry on instruments with only 488 nm excitation source. It requires minimal (0-2%) FL2/FL3 compensation.
