Description ZAP-70 is a protein tyrosine kinase (PTK) with the primary role of catalyzing the phosphorylation of tyrosine residues in cellular proteins, and thus, contributes significantly to the initiation of cell signaling. ZAP-70 is normally expressed on T cell and NK cells.
