Description |
Fibronectin is a high molecular weight dimeric glycoprotein which is present in soluble and insoluble forms. The soluble form is the major component of blood plasma and is mainly produced by hepatocytes while insoluble fibronectin is a major component of the extracellular matrix. Fibronectin is involved in cell adhesion, growth, migration, and differentiation.
