Anti-Rat Secondary Antibodies

We offer anti-rat secondary antibodies produced in goat, rabbit, donkey, sheep, and mouse. They are valuable in the detection of primary antibodies and are available in a variety of formats including unconjugated and enzyme, biotinylated, and fluorescent conjugates for assays such as ELISA, western blot, flow cytometry, multiplex, and immunohistochemistry.

Since monoclonal antibodies will bind a single epitope on the antibody target, they are highly specific, deliver superior lot-to-lot consistency, and are often well characterized in the literature. Our polyclonal anti-rat secondary antibodies can provide improved sensitivity through signal amplification as multiple secondary antibodies can bind to a single primary antibody. Selected antibodies have been cross-adsorbed against IgG and/or serum proteins from other species to generate antibodies with minimal cross-reactivity to those species. It is important to use a secondary antibody that has minimal cross-reactivity to the species of your sample.
