More Information
Clone E11
Isotype Mouse (BALB/c) IgG1κ
Isotype Control Mouse IgG1-FITC (15H6)
Specificity Human/Rhesus/Cynomolgus/Chimpanzee/Baboon CD35
Alternative Names CR1, complement receptor type 1, C3bR, C4bR, immune adherence receptor
Description The CD35 antigen is composed of four different allotypes having different molecular weights [A (or F) - 160 kDa, B (or S) - 190 kDa, C - 220 kDa, and D - 250 kDa]. It is the receptor for C3b and is found on B cells, a subset of T cells, monocytes, neutrophils, follicular dendritic cells, erythrocytes, and kidney glomelular podocytes. CD35 mediates neutrophil and monocyte phagocytosis of particles coated with C3b and/or C4b. This interaction also enhances phagocytosis mediated by the Fc receptors.
